| Thank you! | Tue Nov 18, 2008 |
G'day Everyone,
Just wanted to say thank you for the support I've received in regards to the birth of my 2nd baby - Grace, and the release of the 3rd single, “Reinvent the wheel”!
The support has been amazing, I’m truly grateful.
I was also fortunate enough to receive a nomination for a Gold Medallion Award. Once again I am truly grateful!
I'm currently spending some time writing for the second album and am hoping to record early next year. Looking towards a slightly different flavour for the album this time around…… so stay tuned…..

| Much more music to come. | Thu Sep 11, 2008 |
For the last eight months I have been enjoying my 2nd pregnancy and have spent time writing for the 2nd album. It has felt good to sit still for a bit after a truly busy year! Lee Fielding, my partner in crime, has moved out to the country, near Toowoomba.
He is the writer of the 3rd single from the album “Reinvent the Wheel”. A truly well written gem, which is why I fell in love with it the moment I heard it. J
I’m only a few weeks away from the birth of bub number 2! i'm looking forwad to getting back to gigs, however in the meantime, please enjoy the 3rd single, "Reinvent the Wheel"!!
Much love, Christy. xoxo |

Just a note to let you all know (I’m very excited) that my debut single "Wishing you were here" has made it to the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Competition! Yeah for me. :-)
It feels good to be recognised, when competing against so many other good songs through out the world.
I’m planning some up and coming shows with a couple of different groups at the moment though can’t give too much away yet. I’ll keep you all posted!

| Tamworth 2008 | Thu Jan 31, 2008 |
Well hello everyone!
It was a busy, busy Tamworth festival this year, well worth the 7/8 hour drive.
The gigs with the Sirens of Song were definitely my favourite. It was great to mix it up with the Sirens along with Lee Fielding and Kel.
I managed to use any spare moments to write 4 new songs!
A big thank you to Donna and Kerry for looking after us in all ways.
My second single will be released in March, until then you can catch me at Eumundi markets.

| I love the jolly season! | Tue Dec 18, 2007 |
HELLO everyone!!! What a great time of year. I'm pleased to say I have finished my Christmas shopping and have managed to escape any run in's with restless Santa's!! I have been to a number of Christmas parties and had a good chin wag with everyone there and to top it off I'm about to make a big Christmas ginger bread house. YUM. :-)
The Sirens of Song are getting prepared for our shows (Lee Fielding will be joining me) and I'm preparing for the 2008 Toyota Star Maker. Tamworth is fast approaching....Yippie!
To top off this jolly season I have finished the yoga /massage cd I have been working on and it is awsome, absolutley brilliant (even if I do say so myself).
I can't wait to share it with everyone. :) Stay safe and share the joy!
Love Christy.xoxo

| Off to Toyota Starmaker 2008! | Mon Nov 12, 2007 |
Hi everyone, I've just returned from Melbourne visiting family and roller derby friends!
Yes....roller derby.
Anyway, I'm sooo excited to be selected for Toyota Starmaker 2008!
Woo Hoo! I'll be sharing the stage with some of my friends...including Sarah McMonagle who I'm performing with in the "Sirens of Song" show at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. So get down and get your tickets for the Toyota Starmaker 2008. It will be one of the hottest shows in town... it sold out last year. Don't forget to come and see Sarah, Harmony James, Nellie Donovan and myself in the "Sirens of Song" concerts at the Tudor.
See ya'll there. Christy.xo J

| Go aussie go! | Sun Oct 28, 2007 |
After a weeks holiday at beautiful Kingscliff I returned to Brisbane and had the honour of sharing the stage with one of Australia’s brightest talents…..Felicity!!
It is always a pleasure to play to a receptive audience and last night was no different. The crowd at the Pioneer Village Country Music Club made Lee and I feel very welcome. J
A big Thank You to all the crew at the Pioneer working behind the scenes as well as Daryl for giving Aussie music a great plug locally, nationally, and internationally!
On another note. With the election looming I would like to remind everyone to consider one of the major issues of this election which is our environment….to be exact, providing a sustainable world for our children and generations to come. We can all do our bit locally though one of the most important things we can do is vote for candidates whose policies recognise the need for change. Just a thought....though an important one I wanted to share.
This website www.whoanearthcares.com has some great solutions on how to help Australians do our bit to prevent climate change. Christy.xo

| Applewoods; a brilliant success! | Wed Sep 26, 2007 |
Hello Folks! I had an inspiring weekend out at "Songs of Applewoods"on the outskirts of Brisbane. Who would've thought Brisbane had so much talent lurking in the background! I was paired with fellow Brisbane alt-country-rocker Andrew Morris and the outcome was a brilliant new song.....even if I do say so myself. ;-) A big thanks to the team that organised the successful event, especially Tylea. Thanks also to Jeff Lovejoy for mixing the track. Hopefully we'll all get to do it again soon! Christy.xo |

| What a Fretfest feast! | Mon Sep 10, 2007 |
Hello everyone! I had the most amazing weekend performing at Fretfest and was honoured to be a judge at one of Australia's leading competitions for singer song-writers. It goes down as one of my carreer highlights. There were SO many people both on the ground and up on the balconies of the QPAC arts centre - it was awesome!! We have such amazing talent in this country.... it would be great to see you there at the Fretfest final this Saturday the 15th of September @ QPAC arts centre Sounthbank, Brisbane for a 5pm start. You'd be mad to miss it. Christy.xo |

| G'day everyone | Tue Sep 4, 2007 |
G'day everyone. Thanks so much for the overwhelming support of my debut single "Wishing you were here"! It's a song I wrote when I was down on the beautiful Hawkesbury River and it is very close to my heart. All the folks I've done radio interviews with thus far have made me sound like a seasoned professional so a big thanks goes out to them; Barbara Morison at 2SER Sydney, John Nutting ABC Radio Townsville, Jenny Swan ABC Toowoomba and Rod Collman at Monaro FM. Without their support you wouldn't hear me! Love Christy. xo
